The recall targets several references of Acevia head cheese (half-moon, terrine or trapezoid shapes), all from the batch
261011 and bearing the same expiration date: April 14, 2026. The affected barcodes are GTIN 03181530045116, 03181530045130, 03181530045147, 03181530450910 and 03181530045109.

These charcuterie products, produced on a site bearing the FR 12.080.001 health mark, were marketed from March 5 to 13, 2026 in Whole Francevia distributors like Rivera, Lodi Frais, Tradi France, Salaison pertuisienne or Charcuterie Jourdan. The recall procedure is announced until Wednesday April 29, 2026, with a planned refund and a dedicated number: 05 65 99 78 98.

Listeria and recalled head cheese: what are the risks of listeriosis?

The reason for the recall is the presence of Listeria monocytogenesbacteria responsible for
listeriosis. On the official file, the authorities specify: “People who have consumed the “products” mentioned above and who present with fever, isolated or accompanied by headaches, and body aches, are invited to consult their doctor and report this consumption. Serious forms with neurological complications and maternal or fetal damage in pregnant women can also sometimes occur. Pregnant women as well as immunocompromised people and the elderly should be particularly attentive to these symptoms. Listeriosis is a disease that can be serious and has an incubation period of up to eight weeks.s”, indicate the health authorities on the RappelConso website.
