In many homes, the net of oranges joins the cart almost automatically, for a morning juice, a fruit salad or a flavored cake. These citrus fruits, synonymous with vitamin C and freshness, are reassuring. However, a batch of Auchan brand oranges sold in 2 kg bags is today the subject of a recall.

The recall targets the nets ORANGE TO TASTE 2KG sold under the Auchan private label, in the fruit and vegetable aisle, throughout the country. The sheet published on RappelConso indicates that the authorized limits of pesticides have been exceeded on a specific batch. Many customers are therefore potentially affected.

The fruits concerned bear the GTIN 3254560497665 and the lot 08 17/DR/22. They were offered at the fruit and vegetable stand between the
09/11/2026 and the 09/15/2026in all stores distributing the Auchan brand, on the

What are the health risks?

The reason given by the brand is exceeding authorized pesticide limits on this batch of oranges. Excessive exposure to certain residues can cause digestive problems such as nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain, but also headaches or dizziness. Children, pregnant women and vulnerable people are more vulnerable to this type of chemical contamination.
