Be careful, these Le Choix du Traiteur salads are contaminated with Listeria
A new food alert affects several ready-to-eat products from the Le Choix du Traiteur brand. Salads and pork snouts sold in supermarkets or via wholesalers are subject to a product recall across France due to potential contamination by Listeria monocytogenes. Here are all the references concerned and the procedures to know.

A consumer recall was published on November 17, 2025 on the official Rappel Conso website. Several salads and preparations based on pork snout from the same producer, BRIENT Le Choix du Traiteur, are urgently removed from the shelves. These products, sold between the beginning and the end of November, belong to the category of ready-to-eat meals that are particularly monitored due to the risk of development of pathogenic bacteria.

What are the health risks?

The possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes
in recalled products exposes the consumer to the risk of listeriosis. This infection can cause fever, headache, body aches and, in some cases, have severe consequences, particularly in the elderly, immunocompromised people or pregnant women. The incubation period can be up to eight weeks, which requires particular vigilance in the event of recent consumption.

How to get reimbursed?

The products should no longer be consumed. To obtain a refund, simply return the tray to the point of sale or contact the manufacturer directly. Consumer service can be reached at: 07 63 20 05 03. The receipt and packaging with the batch number make it easier to handle reimbursement.
