Black Fire reminder: this slimming supplement threatens the liver and heart, is your pot affected?
A new recall hits fans of fat burners in France in February 2026. Between batches, dates and risks, how do you know if you are affected?

A new Black Fire recall is shaking up fans of slimming supplements. The brand’s “BLACK FIRE” product BLACK PROTEINpresented as a fat burner, is the subject of an official alert for the presence of a prohibited substance, against a backdrop of risks for the liver, heart and digestion.

Published on February 5, 2026 on the official recall platform, this alert targets a very specific batch, sold throughout France by the Fitness Boutique network. It comes after a first wave of recalls in 2025, linked to the same key ingredient. A question then immediately arises: is your pot affected?

Why the Black Fire supplement is being recalled again

At the heart of the matter is the
Garcinia cambogiaa plant extract used in several “fat-burning” supplements. A decree of Ministry of Agriculture dated April 15, 2025, published in the Official Journal on April 17, 2025, suspended for one year the marketing of all products containing this extract. The Black Fire recall therefore directly reflects this decision.

The authorities speak of “presence of prohibited substance” and “hepatic, cardiovascular and digestive risks”. According to data reported by ANSES, more than 150 cases of liver damage were recorded in 2024 in possible connection with supplements based on Garcinia cambogia. The recall therefore aims to preventively remove these products from cupboards before other consumers are exposed.

Black Fire recall: batches, dates and stores affected

The current recall concerns the dietary supplement
BLACK FIREcategory “Dietary foods and nutrition”, bearing the GTIN code 3662072150228. Only the lot 05156 with a use-by date of 03/03/2027 is targeted. This batch was marketed from 10/01/2025 to 01/29/2026, at room temperature, throughout France via the Fitness Boutique website and stores. The recall procedure is announced until February 28, 2026, with reimbursement planned.

A first alert had already affected Black Fire in April 2025: all lots whose minimum durability date was between 05/12/2026 and 03/03/2027, sold from 01/01/2025 to 04/18/2025, were then recalled. This procedure ended on 05/24/2025. A consumer who bought their pot in 2025 or the end of 2025 must therefore carefully check the date, batch and barcode to know which wave it belongs to.

What risks with Black Fire and what to do in practice

Official data sheets mention risks for the liver, the cardiovascular system and the digestive system. Even in the absence of immediate discomfort, the authorities ask that you no longer consume or use the product. The instructions are clear: return the Black Fire supplement to the point of sale, contact the store or Fitness Boutique consumer service and request the reimbursement provided as part of the recall.

A person who discovers at home a jar mentioning GTIN 3662072150228 and lot 05156 must therefore stop taking it without delay and organize its return in store or by mail depending on the purchase channel. If you have concerns related to past consumption of Black Fire, a discussion with a health professional allows you to assess the situation based on the history of use of the supplement.
