Combodart

Combodart combines Tamsulosin and Dutasteride as the medicine’s active ingredients. The treatment is used for moderate to severe symptoms of an enlarged prostate or benign prostatic hyperplasia. They will help alleviate some of the symptoms and prevent the risk of being unable to pass urine completely which is usually resolved surgically. Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker while Dutasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor.

What is Combodart?

Combodart is a combination of Dutasteride and Tamsulosin used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia or enlarged prostate ranging from moderate to severe. The treatment can reduce the risk of being unable to pass urine completely. This symptom is usually resolved through surgery.

How Does Combodart Work?

The treatment contains two active ingredients, Dutasteride and Tamsulosin. Dutasteride can inhibit the production of the dihydrotestosterone hormone (DHT) which shrinks the prostate and alleviates some of the symptoms. Using this treatment may help prevent acute urinary retention and the necessary surgical resolution of the issue. On the other hand, Tamsulosin relaxes the muscles in the prostate gland. This helps urine freely pass.

What Are The Benefits OF Using Combodart?

The treatment has two main benefits. The first one is helping shrink the prostate by inhibiting the production of the dihydrotestosterone. This helps shrink the prostate and alleviate the symptoms of the condition. The second benefit of using Combodart is that it helps relax the muscles in the prostate, making passing urine easier. The treatment has proven quick and effective in resolving enlarged prostate and benign prostatic hyperplasia symptoms.

How Should I Use Combodart?

You should take one capsule of Combodart once a day, at the same time and half an hour after a meal.

You should swallow the medicine whole. Do not chew or open it, as its components may cause irritations in the throat or mouth.

If you skip a dose of Combodart, do not take a double dose next time to make up for it. Just take the next regular dose according to your schedule.
