What are the health risks?
The problem does not come from the composition of the product but from the
expiration date printed on the label. This indicates October 11, 2026, while the real DLC is set at July 11, 2026 for the recalled lot.
Beyond this true date, poultry sausages may deteriorate, even if the smell or appearance appears normal. Consumption of an outdated product exposes you to digestive disorders or food poisoning, particularly in children, pregnant women, elderly or immunocompromised people.
What should the consumer do?
Anyone holding an affected container must stop consuming it, even if the indicated shelf life has not exceeded. The product can be returned to the Auchan point of sale for a
refund without proof other than the merchandise.
For any questions, Auchan consumer service can be reached at 03 59 30 59 30. In the event of symptoms after ingestion of potentially expired sausages, rapid medical advice is recommended, reporting the consumption of this recalled product.
