A product recall was launched on July 25, 2025 concerning a popular moisturizing face cream distributed throughout France, including online, in pharmacies and selective points of sale. It is “is the Erborian Centella Cream 50 ml and 20 ml.
What products are concerned?
The recall concerns two formats of face cream:
- 50 ml tube – Reference: 6AA20067
- 20 ml tube – Reference: 6AA20068
Lots recalled:
- Km05363
- Km06363
- Km06343
- Km07343
These products were sold everywhere in France, via the Internet, pharmacies, parapharmacies and selective distributors.
Why this recall?
Some lots have been made without preservatives, making them vulnerable to microbial contamination. This failure can cause:
- Irritation or redness;
- Skin infections;
- Allergic reactions, especially in people with sensitive skin.
As a precaution, it is imperative to immediately stop the use of these products.

How to be reimbursed?
The consumer must immediately stop the use of Centella cream and contact the Erborian consumer service (number 0977 400 602). An exchange of the product is offered in compensation. The products concerned can be returned via the Erborian site or in point of sale according to the terms communicated by customer service.
