She agrees. In the ultra competitive universe of red fruit jams, a reference is released. The Yuka application, which scrutinizes the products of our shelves, has unveiled its ranking of the best jams available in supermarkets. And the big winner is … an organic blueberry jam, made in Provence.
Jam: a sweet star from southern
It is the light -legged blueberry jam of the jam brand that wins first place, with a note of 79/100 in the Yuka application. This score, described as “excellent”, distinguishes a recipe with 54 % fruit, organic, without excess of sugar, and without unwanted additives. Made in Provence, this jam checks all the boxes of a product that is both gourmet and healthy.
Jam is ahead of two other preparations signed Lucien Georgelin, an artisanal jumper from Lot-et-Garonne, whose versions without sugars added to strawberry and blueberry each obtain 78/100. Note: these two references had already been awarded during the last general agricultural competition.
In a previous article, the nutritionist Alexandra Murcier revealed to us that “The advantage of using Yuka for the comparison of jams is that this application highlights the presence of additives and sweeteningwhich are harmful to health if consumed too frequently “.
Red jams … and virtuous
In addition to the first three, two other products complete the Top 5 according to Yuka: 80 % of Arbo brand jam (78/100), and the organic raspberry sublime of flavors & fruits (76/100). These jams all display a minimalist composition, rich in fruit, poor in added sugars, without chemical additives or artificial preservatives.
This classification confirms a trend: gluttony is no longer synonymous with excess. Thanks to better thought -out recipes, jam can now invite itself to the table without guilt.
