In case of shock, do not throw this bike helmet!
Imagine a helmet that would resume its original shape after the slightest shock, when normally it had to finish in the trash. This is what a Dutch start-up offers, with its reusable helmet, even after a multitude of (small) shocks.

The Echo Pro of Headfirst is presented as a new generation of helmets, combining comfort, safety and sustainability. It is distinguished above all by the use of EPP foam (expanded polypropylene) which, unlike the expanded polystyrene generally used in traditional helmets, resists several incidents without significant loss of performance. Without undergoing permanent damage.

It was also designed to offer a personalized adjustment thanks to an unprecedented system which allows it to adapt precisely to the shape of the head of each user. Moreover, the manufacturer also offers a child’s declination of the helmet so that everyone can enjoy their comfort and solidity. Finally, the Echo Pro incorporates an intelligent stop fire, designed to improve cyclists safety by automatically activating during braking.

After two years of research and development, this helmet is today the subject of a crowdfunding campaign via the Kickstarter platform, with a first advantageous price at only 92 euros (excluding shipping costs).

Cyclists’ safety pushes headset manufacturers to develop ever more innovative new solutions, like what German inflabi already offers with the inflatable helmet.
