On the Parisian red carpet, some guests took a few seconds to recognize Adriana Karembeu. At 54, the former top model created a surprise by revealing a radical hair transformation during an evening organized at the Bowmann hotel, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, for the launch of the new formula for LUI magazine.
An assumed metamorphosis for a very fashionable evening
On March 9, in front of the guests gathered around this editorial relaunch led by Eric Naulleau, Adriana Karembeu appeared with a look that broke with her iconic image. Gone is the long blonde hair that has long been her signature: make way for a platinum blonde pixie cut, short on the sides and slightly longer on top.
Another striking detail: his discolored eyebrows, almost erased, which completely redraw the expression of his face. This aesthetic choice, very present on the catwalks, accentuates a graphic and resolutely contemporary rendering.
In terms of silhouette, the model opted for a striped suit jacket combined with fishnet stockings, reinforcing an androgynous and structured look. This same stylistic bias is found on the cover of the magazine, where she appears in a red sequinned dress signed Stéphane Rolland, from his Haute Couture spring-summer 2026 collection.
An evolution that began at the start of the year
This transformation does not mark an isolated turning point. As early as January, during Paris Fashion Week, Adriana Karembeu had already surprised by adopting a very short cut on the Stéphane Rolland podium. A hairstyle then presented as a nod to her companion, the singer Marc Lavoine.
Since then, the model seems to be part of a dynamic of experimentation. Its new cut, even more radical, highlights the facial features, particularly the cheekbones and the nape of the neck, in a refined and assertive aesthetic.
Bleached eyebrows, for their part, contribute to this transformation by shifting the attention towards the structure of the face, for an almost futuristic look. The whole thing contrasts with the glamorous and classic image that was long associated with it.
How to get inspired by this look without transforming everything
Without adopting such an extreme transformation, certain avenues allow you to adopt this trend:
- Opt for a structured pixie cut, with short sides and volume on top, adapting the shade of blonde to your skin tone;
- Test the effect of lightened eyebrows with makeup (corrector or tinted gel) before considering lasting bleaching in the salon;
- Focus on clothing contrasts, by combining a short cut with strong pieces, such as a masculine suit or a very feminine dress.
With this new appearance, Adriana Karembeu confirms her stylistic shift and fully fits into current fashion codes, where transformation and audacity take precedence over fixed signatures.
