An analysis detected the presence of Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) in this lot. After consuming a contaminated product, symptoms may appear within a week: diarrhea, sometimes bloody, severe abdominal pain, vomiting, with or without fever. In some cases, especially in young children, these digestive disorders can develop into severe kidney complications.
The elderly, pregnant women and immunocompromised people are also more exposed to serious forms. If symptoms appear within 15 days of consuming this minced meat, you should promptly consult a doctor, noting the product, date and place of purchase.
What should the consumer do?
The trays corresponding to the recalled batch should no longer be consumed, even if well cooked. It is requested to report the
