According to a CINT study carried out for Meetic in France in April 2024, among 1,000 men and women aged 25 to 49, the voice would be a “vector of emotions and surprises”.

It allows us to learn a lot about someone… and has the power to make us vibrate and arouse the desire to discover the other (or not)“, reveals the study. Moreover, nearly 79% of singles think they can fall in love with a voice.

Indeed, for 80% of single men and 78% of single women, voice is very important in the context of a romantic encounter, even if men seem to be a little more sensitive to this natural charm.

67% of men say they have already been seduced just by the voice of a person, compared to 54% of women. A total of 60% of singles have already fallen under the spell of a partner’s voice!“, the press release further reveals.

While online dating is mainly focused on the exchange of written messages, voice could therefore be “one of the best assets for seduction”, say experts.
