What do the French do after sex? A study reveals our 3 habits
After love, everyone has their own little habits. A recent survey reveals the three most common behaviors among French people after sexual intercourse.

After their antics, the French have varied habits: sleeping, eating, chatting, cuddling… However, some are more frequent than others! The site selling erotic/sexual objects Adam and Eve has published the edition of its SexReport. Via an online questionnaire, the question of the first habit after sex was asked to a representative sample of the French population aged 18 to 65, men and women. Respondents were asked to indicate what they do most often after sexual intercourse.

Coitus… and bed!

It is sleep that wins the French people the most after coitus! 42% of them say they fall asleep directly afterwards. 37% of participants have the reflex to go directly to the toilet after making love: which is a very good practice. In third position, it is the act of showering that ranks, with 29% of French people saying they go to the shower after having sex.

Interestingly, 50% of women report going to the bathroom directly after sex. Ultimately, nothing very extravagant: the French are rather reasonable.

French women have the right reflex

The data on French people who urinate after sex are rather encouraging, because this habit is essential for preventing infections, particularly among women. Whether or not the act includes penetration, whether it is performed alone, in pairs, or in groups, going through the “toilet” box after intercourse is strongly recommended. Any contact with the vagina, whether internal or external, can promote the migration of bacteria to the urethra, thus increasing the risk of urinary infections. Urinating after the act helps flush out these bacteria and germs, effectively reducing this danger.
