Growth milks punctuate the morning and evening of little ones, slipped into a bottle or a cup up to 3 years old. Organic versions sold in supermarkets, such as AUCHAN BABY BIO CROISSANCE or BIO VILLAGE BEBE, are often chosen by parents.
Since October 14, 2026, these growing-up milks have been subject to a national recall after reports of an abnormal odor and taste, reminiscent of fish. Two references are concerned, sold in most French hypermarkets: AUCHAN BABY BIO and BIO VILLAGE BEBE. A quick check of the cupboards is necessary.
Baby growth milk recall: AUCHAN BABY BIO and BIO VILLAGE BEBE
The sheets published on 10/14/2026 on RappelConso announce a voluntary recall of two growth milks. This includes growth milks AUCHAN BABY ORGANIC GROWTH 1L and 6x1Lsold from 08/31/2026 to 10/13/2026, as well as the
ORGANIC VILLAGE BABY MILK NATURAL GROWTH MILK 6x1Lmarketed from 09/01/2026 to 10/09/2026. All carry the lot 26205PC and a minimum durability date of 04/20/2027.

In both cases, the reason for the recall is a bad odor and an unusual taste, reminiscent of fish, classified in
organoleptic modifications. This means that the odor and flavor of the milk are abnormal, without compromising its microbiological safety. For the ORGANIC VILLAGE BABY milkRappelConso indicates that this alteration does not present a danger to the health of children, but makes the bottle unsuitable.
What to do if these growth milks are in your home
First step: check the bottles growth milk AUCHAN BABY ORGANIC and ORGANIC VILLAGE BABY at home. The lot 26205PC and the date 04/20/2027 appear on the cap or the side of the pack; if these mentions appear, the product is concerned, even without a suspicious odor.
No longer give these milks to children and return them to the point of sale for refund. AUCHAN products are available in stores distributing the brand, those of BIO VILLAGE BEBE in E.Leclerc centers.
