Reblochon de Savoie AOP, the flagship of Savoyard gastronomy, is currently the subject of a large-scale consumer recall. Two references from the same cheese factory, identified under the brands “Nos Régions ont du Talent” (marketed at E.Leclerc) and Masson (sold at Grand Frais and Fresh), are concerned. The reason: the presence of toxigenic Shiga Escherichia coli (STEC) O26, a bacteria dangerous to health.

The recalled products are Reblochons AOP with raw milkmanufactured in the Haute-Savoie department and sold throughout France. The recall was issued on
November 10, 2025 following health analyzes confirming contamination. The incriminated batches were sold in the cutting section and self-service, in paper or film packaging, between October and November 2025.

Toxigenic Shiga Escherichia coli (STEC) can cause, in the week following consumption,
sometimes bloody diarrheaof the severe abdominal painof the vomiting and the fever. In approximately 5 to 8% of casesthese symptoms can progress to
