What is Femoston?

Femoston is a Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) that contains oestrogen and progestogen, two female hormones that help restore the natural hormonal balance in women and treat symptoms of menopause.

Femoston is used in postmenopausal women at least 6 months since last menses.

How does Femoston work?

The amount of oestrogen in a womanā€™s body decreases during menopause. The most common symptoms of this drop in oestrogen are a hot face, neck, and chest or what we call ā€œhot flushesā€. Femoston contains two female hormones: oestrogen (estradiol hemihydrate) and progestogen (dydrogesterone) that help relieve the symptoms by restoring the natural hormonal balance in women.

Femoston also prevents the risk of developing fragile bones or osteoporosis after menopause.

What are the benefits of taking Femoston?

Hot flashes (affecting the face, neck, and chest), night sweats, irregular menstrual cycle, weight gain, thinning of hair, and mood changes are some of the most common symptoms of menopause among women.

These symptoms, when not treated, can affect oneā€™s daily activities. Taking Femoston HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) restores the natural hormonal balance in women, resulting in the easing of symptoms related to menopause.

What should I know before taking Femoston?

Knowing the risks associated with Femoston is important before you start taking the medicine. Inform your doctor of any medical conditions or illnesses that you may have. Notify them of your familyā€™s medical history as well. Once you start with Femoston, you should schedule a regular check-up with your doctor.
