The study reveals that 71% of young adults view their generation as more open and flexible when it comes to love. In contrast, the expectations of past generations – marriage, children, moving in together quickly – are seen as obstacles. Nearly 60% of participants refuse these conventional steps to experience a relationship at their own pace.

Among the underlying trends of “bold love”, the concept of “indie living” is gaining ground. 60% of respondents consider it essential to consolidate their emotional security before sharing a roof with their partner. This approach values taking the time to know yourself well and preserving your personal space.
Concretely, 44% of young people questioned wait at least a year before settling down together. This patience allows you to build a lasting and peaceful relationship, without giving in to the pressure of rapid cohabitation.
