Pregnancy after an anal report
Professor Adam Taylor, of the University of Lancaster, recalls that the vast majority of pregnancies begin with a vaginal report. But in some very rare cases, other scenarios are possible. A pregnancy can for example occur after an anal report, in women with a congenital anomaly called cloacal malformation. This opening between rectum and vagina, which affects approximately one in 50,000, allows sperm to reach the ovum and cause fertilization.
Pregnancy after oral report
A scientific article published in the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynacology reports the case of a 15 -year -old teenager in Lesotho, born without vagina due to Mullerian Agenesia. Doctors discover her pregnancy during a consultation for abdominal pain. Nine months earlier, after blowjob, she had been stabbed in the stomach by her ex-jealous accompaniment. Due to this injury, sperm was able to enter its body and reach an egg. The girl gave birth to a healthy child, by Cesarean.
Sperm splash pregnancy
Some pregnancies have also started after a simple sperm splash on the external genitals. Even if the sperm survive little time out of the body (no more than 30 minutes, with a speed of about 5 mm per minute), a “super sperm” can reach the ovum. These cases remain exceptional.
Double pregnancies, a very rare natural phenomenon
Finally, there are cases of double pregnancy, called superfection. This occurs when the body does not block a second ovulation after the start of a first pregnancy. The two conceptions, separated from two to four weeks, lead to babies born at the same time, like twins. The phenomenon mainly affects women using in vitro fertilization.
Professor Taylor stresses that “These examples are of course extremely rare “and reassures:” So you don’t need to worry “. He nevertheless recalls: “However, if you are not trying to get pregnant anytime soon, be sure to use contraception“.
