SINGLE PRICE reference X6 330 g, sold in 330 g plastic trays and stored in the refrigerator. They bear the FR84.054.001UE health mark and were sold in Monoprix stores in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Corsica, Occitanie and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. Only certain batch numbers and use-by dates are affected; they are listed below.

What are the health risks?

The possible presence of Salmonellathe bacteria responsible for salmonellosis, exposes people to food poisoning. After consuming a contaminated product, symptoms generally appear between 6 and 72 hours: diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fever and headache, sometimes with severe dehydration.

The risks are higher for young children, the elderly, pregnant women and immunocompromised people. Anyone who has eaten these merguez and shows these signs should consult a doctor quickly and report the consumption. Without symptoms within seven days, no specific consultation is recommended.

What should the consumer do?

The affected beef and mutton merguez should no longer be consumed, even well cooked or frozen. It is recommended to return the tray to the Monoprix point of sale to obtain a
refunduntil Wednesday July 8, 2026, the announced date of end of the recall procedure.
