It belongs to the group of treatments known as smoking cessation aids.
How should I use Nicorette 2mg Gum?
Nicorette Gums should be chewed slowly. Make sure you read the instructions provided with the package before using the product. The strength of the gum will be determined based on how serious the smoking habits of the person were. If they used to smoke a pack of cigarettes or less in a day, Nicorette 2mg Gum will be strong enough. If they smoked more than a pack, they will need 4mg gums to counter the nicotine withdrawal symptoms.
Use the gum whenever you feel the need to smoke or to prevent craving in a situation that may lead to the desire developing such as during a night out or in the presence of other smokers. The gum is most effective if you replace all your cigarettes with the gum. As soon as you feel the cravings have subsided, reduce the number of Nicorette Gums you use until you don’t need them anymore.
If you don’t want to quit smoking but rather decrease the number of cigarettes per day, simply use a Nicorette 2mg Gum between cigarettes to extend your smoke-free breaks.

What should I do if I miss a dose?
Nicorette Gums are used on a need-to basis and do not follow a strict schedule. If you miss a dose, simply take the gum whenever you feel a craving for a cigarette. Never use two pieces of Nicorette Gum to make up for a skipped dose.
What should I do if I overdose on Nicorette Gum?
