Compared to Gedarel 20, this tablet contains more oestrogen, reducing the chance of irregular and breakthrough bleeding, if side effects are experienced with Gedarel 30, Gedarel 20 may be a good alternative. Offering over 99% protection from pregnancy when taken correctly, it can also reduce pain during the period and reduce menstrual bleeding. Gedarel should be taken at the same time daily for 21 days followed by a 7 day tablet-free break.
